Jitta Bug is a large family child care home that is accredited with the National Association for Family Child Care. We provide educational services for children between the ages of 3 months to 8 years old. This website is used by staff members, families, and community partners.

Our Philosophy 

Jitta Bug Learning Center’s philosophy on education is children deserves an education and are endowed this right at birth. The creation of an environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and independence is the most vital thing for a child’s success in school. Jitta Bug’s program supports a developmentally appropriate curriculum that helps enhance the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child. Jitta Bug teaches to the whole child and on a one-on-one level, allowing the students to take charge in the classroom and to have a role in their education. Jitta Bug believes that children learn best through hands on activities that supports our STEAM curriculum. STEAM is Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Jitta Bug also believe with the constant change in society and technology our youth will benefits greatly from the usage of multimedia outlets and are allowed to explore using them.
